Boot Scarf

This week I am going to share some ideas on how to add a little bit of Valentine spice to your shoes.

I'm calling it a boot scarf. What do you think?

Pick a button with an eye on the back. I picked this vintage looking one because I thought it looked great with the pink scrap fabric I used.

Measure around the ankle of your boot. Cut a piece of fabric the length of your boot plus 4 inches. The width should be about 8 inches. Fold the fabric all the way up as shown.

Wrap the fabric around the ankle of your boot and cross the ends over one another. Hold the button up to the fabric over the cross over.

Insert a safety pin through the fabric and the eye of the button. Initially, I only folded the fabric to look like the picture above. I wasn't too fond of the plain folded look. So I tried twisting it and preferred the new look, like below.

What an easy, quick, and inexpensive way to spice up your boots for Valentine's Day

The Real Deal: It cost me less than $2.00 to make these.

  2. Where did you get your boots??

    • Hi Sia,
I got my boots from Clark’s a couple years ago. They don’t make them anymore. I am so bummed because I recently went back to buy a black pair and came home empty handed. They are so comfy!
