You will likely gasp. A lot. But, I am who I am. Love me or leave me.
- I don't have a cell phone. I'd rather spend $70 a month on crafts than a cell phone. Are my priorities in line? I think so.
- I hold a special place in my heart for 80s music. Tonight is girls' night at the skating rink with a 80s theme. I will be there.
- I watch about one hour of TV a week. 'One' and 'week' are not typos. When I am watching, it is usually the reality 'Housewives.' New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Atlanta… I don't care. Is it really any less dramatic or more brainless than the evening news?
P.S. I used to have a pink punk wig just like the one above. Don't worry. I don't think it's cool anymore. It does kind of remind me of the top of this. Maybe I subconsciously want one.

With the exception of 1) (mostly because my husband buys me gadgets so I got an iPhone, and now I'm hooked) and I don't roller skate (hurts my ankles) you and I are very similar. Oh, and my glutton TV is Grey's Anatomy.
We have a TrakFon—pay as you go by the year. Works just fine for us. And we are one of the last four households on the planet without cable. I do admit I am hooked on NCIS—the Mark Harmon version but that's about the only tv show I watch without fail.

aaha…its interesting to know all…well i am also away from tv..although i have tv in my bedroom,actually whenever i get extra time from my rough,tough studies..i turn on my computer for relaxation…& it always works well..
you are amazing that you are living without any cell phone in this era..unbelieveable..but you are good in managing all..

Hooray! I'm not the only soul on the planet without a cell phone. I think they make people rude. (talking while driving, talking while checking out at the store, talking while visiting someone, etc) and having the extra cash is great.
i don't have cable either. it took me awhile to talk my bf out of that one…but i think he likes it better now too. and again…more money!

SO agree with you on the reality television thing. I know people that think certain TV is "intelligent" and other TV is junk – sorry, I disagree. It's all junk! So I totally confess that when I watch, I'm indulging!
i am a craft snob also , we should start a club .. for real , i wonder how many members we would have .. more than we think , i am figuring …i love the 80's and i so miss them , and i really miss roller skating , it sucks to have a stroke … i have a hot pink punk wig , and a purple one
