I just love this color combination. Red and white polka dots somehow cheer me up. Add some fun-loving feathers and what's not to love?

Materials:

  • 2" x 20" scrap fabric for flower
  • 3 feathers (Hobby Lobby)
  • 2" x 2" scrap felt
  • Hot glue and gun
  • Scissors

Start by making a fabric flower. Then, cut 3 feathers like option 3. Hot glue the feathers to the back of the flower. Snip the ends of the feathers off.

Cut a circular piece of felt to cover the feather stems. Use hot glue to attach the felt to the back of the flower.

Add this perfect little embellishment to an elastic headband like here or here, or a brooch like here. You can even sew it to a hair clip.

The Real Deal: It cost less than $2.00 to make this lovely embellishment.
