Miss Mary Cuff

Oh… my craft scraps are overflowing. Meet Miss Mary. There is only one of her, and she is made from scrap elastic and ribbon.

Follow below to make your very own version of Miss Mary.

Materials:

  • Thread
  • Needle
  • Ribbon
  • Wide elastic (for the band)
  • 2 snap sets
  • Cabochon
  • Cabochon setting
  • E6000 glue

Fold your ribbon in no real pattern to create a messy like flower.  Hand sew the ribbon in the center to secure the flower shape.

Now sew it to the middle of the band.

Align and attach two snaps on each end of the band.

Glue the pink cabochon into the vintage cabochon setting with E6000. Then glue the bottom of the setting to the top of the flower. Let it dry.

Now won’t you go make your own Miss Mary? And do come back to share. Leave a comment with a link to your very own version.

  1. Saw the photo of this on Make and Takes and just had to write.  Not only is the band really cute, but it just happens to be the name of my youngest daughter, Mary Cuff.  So funny!  Must get to work on one!

  2. she is lovely!
