Mini Bistro Chair Ornament

Hello, Craft Snob readers!  I am Katy from no big dill!  I mostly sew, but like to dabble with other mediums.  Today, I’m playing with wire and so pleased to be here to help get ready for Christmas!
Can you tell I had fun with this one?
Start with some wire.  Use 20 or 22 gauge (the bigger the number, the thinner the wire).
Collect some fun beads and buttons to begin.
Make sure you have some good quality needle-nose pliers that grip well.
o1 – Fasten the wire (an 18″ piece should be long enough depending on the size of your chair) to the shank of your button.
o2 – Wrap it around the shank.
o3 – Take the wire out to the edge of the button and bend it up to make the first leg, the foot and back down again.
o4 – Follow the perimeter of the button 1/4 of the way.
o5 – Finish the remainder of the legs.
o6 – Bring the wire up the back of the seat.
o7 – Slide the beads on.
o8 – Wrap the wire around the headrest.
 That’s it!
Make variations with different colors and sizes and add an ornament hook.
Thanks for letting me play!

    • Hi Emilie – I get mine from Hobby Lobby or WalMart. Depending on the type of wire and size of spool, the wire can range from $2 – $10. Hope this helps!
