Guest Post Guidelines

General Guidelines

  • Include your name, email address, URL of your blog/website, and a bio.
  • Pretty pictures of the final product. Pretty pictures of the steps along the way. And anymore pretty pictures you think Craft Snob readers will lo-ove.
  • Preface your post with at least 100 words revolving around the tutorial you are about to share (not bio info)
  • Include materials/supplies with names of stores and links to their websites so crafters can find these items
  • Step by step instructions with helpful hints and tricks

What I Love to See in Guest Posts

  • Flower crafts
  • Jewelry crafts
  • No sew crafts
  • T-shirt crafts
  • DIY accessories

  • Title should let people know what the article is about
  • Enticing and interesting. Instead of “Make a Fabric Flower” try, “Make A Sparkly, Eye-catching Fabric Flower.”

What’s a craft blog without any images or photos?

  • Unwatermarked and at least 800 pixels wide
  • Please make sure you have rights to use the photos
  • Attach photos to your submission email or include a link to an online gallery like flickr

P.S. Tutorials with high quality photography are more likely to be featured. :)
